My name’s Chris McCarry. I do not presume to be an expert in anything, just a fan offering his thoughts and insight. I love baseball and basketball to an unhealthy degree.
I’m not going to sit here and just regurgitate stats and recap each and every game. I’m writing this because I love to talk sports, and hopefully, through writing this I will get better at it.. My number one goal is to have folks read what I have to say, join the conversation, call me an idiot and above all – have fun.
My playing career is as follows: I played everything a 12 year old plays until I was about 14. That’s it. No high school ball, no college scholarships and no minor league contract. This has been – and will always be – one of my biggest regrets in life. I have tried to make up for that with my fanatical rants – which will now be published here for your reading pleasure. So at any point, if you read something here and think, “this guy is just some bitter ‘never was’,” you’re probably right.
I am a die-hard Phillies and Sixers fan and also love the Celtics – hey, nobody’s perfect.
You will also be able to read top-notch Flyers coverage from Chris Campbell. He very well may be the biggest hockey fan any of you know and his knowledge of the game is beyond reproach.. In addition to loving hockey he is a very good writer and will never fail to interest and/or entertain you.
